Ci Siamo Reservations: OpenTable, 28 Days Out at Noon

George Yates · Founder, SeatSwiper · Updated November 2, 2026

How do you get a reservation at Ci Siamo in NYC?Ci Siamo, Danny Meyer’s live-fire Italian restaurant in Manhattan West, books on OpenTable, not Resy. Dates open 28 days ahead, at noon Eastern per the restaurant’s 2022 word and current trackers, and on November 1, 2026 the calendar ran exactly 28 days out. Weekend dinner before 9pm goes first; lunch, served daily from 11:30am, and late tables are far easier.

Ci Siamo is Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group restaurant with chef Hillary Sterling, an Italian room built around a wood fire, at 440 West 33rd Street, Suite 100, inside the Manhattan West plaza between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. It opened in October 2021, and in January 2026 Yelp put it at No. 1 on its Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S., which Time Out covered as a New York win. Its own press page also lists The New York Times’ 100 best restaurants in the city for 2026. Most of what comes up for Ci Siamo reservations was written when it booked on Resy. It does not any more. This guide covers the book as of November 2026: the platform, the 28-day window and the noon hour, the $35 fee, the walk-in bar, and the tables that are easier than they look.

Is Ci Siamo on Resy or OpenTable?

OpenTable. The Reservations button on every page of cisiamo.com opens Ci Siamo’s OpenTable listing, and the Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve “Reserve” links on its holidays page are OpenTable Experiences. Resy is history: when the restaurant opened it booked there, and Resy’s March 2022 interview with the general manager at the time describes a Resy Notify list of “around 1,300 people” on Friday and Saturday nights. The line tracker damnlines still says Resy, but Resy’s old Ci Siamo page now answers “Sorry, but we can’t find that page.” A SevenRooms page under Ci Siamo’s name also turns up in search; when I checked it on November 1, 2026 it returned no times for any date I tried, so ignore it too.

When do Ci Siamo reservations open? 28 days out, at noon

The rule, in the restaurant’s own words from that 2022 interview: “We open our reservations 28 days in advance, at 12 noon each day.” The tracker ReservationFinder lists the same thing for the OpenTable era, 28 days ahead at 12:00pm Eastern, marked “Verified by repeated detection.” Another tracker, itsadate, agrees on 28 days but says no fixed release time is published now, and Ci Siamo’s website states no window at all. So I read the calendar. At about 11:30pm on Sunday, November 1, OpenTable showed 35 times for two on Sunday, November 29, exactly 28 days out, from 11:30am to 9:45pm, and nothing at all for Monday the 30th. That is a 28-day window that had already rolled for the day. I did not watch a noon release happen, so treat the hour as very likely rather than confirmed, and be on the page a few minutes before 12. One small coincidence worth knowing: the note on Ci Siamo’s OpenTable booking screen says its reservations office is open from noon to 9pm daily, so noon is also when someone starts answering (212) 219-6559.

A worked example. You want dinner on Saturday, December 19, 2026, the last Saturday before Christmas. Count back 28 days and you land on Saturday, November 21, so open the OpenTable page at about 11:55am Eastern that day with your party size set and a card ready. If December 19 is not there at noon, refresh for a few minutes before you assume you missed it. One date opens each day, so a miss costs you one night, not the month. How OpenTable windows and release hours differ from restaurant to restaurant is covered in when OpenTable releases reservations.

How fast it books, and where the slack is

In 2022 the general manager said prime tables went within three to five hours of each noon release and that the whole 28 days were “pretty much full” by 5pm. The book looked less frantic on November 1, 2026, but dinner is still the hard part. The live reads on November 1, for two people, told a clear story. Saturday, November 7, six days out, had no dinner times left at all, only lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Friday, November 13, twelve days out, had lunch and then just four late times, 9pm to 9:45pm. Sunday, November 29, freshly released on Thanksgiving weekend, had everything. OpenTable’s own banner on the page that evening read “Booked 191 times today.”

The pattern: dinner before 9pm is what disappears first, and lunch barely sells out. Ci Siamo serves lunch every day, 11:30am to 3pm, and dinner every day, 4:30pm to 10pm, per its site and OpenTable. A Saturday lunch table less than a week out was easy to find on November 1, and it is the same kitchen, the same caramelized onion torta and the same wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. If it has to be dinner, the 9pm-and-later times held up longest in my reads, so a late table is the realistic weekend target.

Party size, the card and the $35 fee

OpenTable takes Ci Siamo bookings for one to ten people. A party of ten found two lunch times on November 29; a party of eleven got “Unfortunately, your party is too large to make an online reservation at Ci Siamo. We recommend contacting the restaurant directly.” Every time I saw asked for a credit card, and the restaurant’s terms on the booking screen read: “We kindly ask that any cancellations be made at least 3 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of $35 per person.” For a table of six that is $210 for a no-show, but a three-hour line is far more forgiving than the 24-hour rules at many hard New York rooms. Groups bigger than ten go to the private dining team: the private room holds up to 50 seated or 75 standing, and a full buyout up to 100 seated or 250 standing. Its page lists the exact dinner dates the private room still has open (19 between mid-November and New Year’s Eve when I checked) and asks you to inquire about lunches. How these card-hold policies compare across the city is in restaurant cancellation policies.

Does Ci Siamo take walk-ins?

Probably, at the bar and lounge, but the restaurant does not say so in writing today: cisiamo.com has no walk-in policy as of November 2026. The record is older. Resy’s opening preview in October 2021 described the bar and lounge as “reserved for walk-ins only,” and in 2022 the general manager said, “We keep our entire bar and lounge area open for walk-ins,” about 13 bar stools and 20 lounge seats, with a waitlist and a text when your table is ready. She put the best time at 5 or 5:30pm, when dinner started then, and waits at 30 minutes to an hour. Dinner now starts at 4:30pm, and on weekdays the bar and lounge serve aperitivo from 3pm to 4:30pm, so arriving in that window as one or two is the low-risk try. For the bigger picture, see NYC hard restaurants that take walk-ins.

Holidays at Ci Siamo

The holiday dinners are booked differently, as separate OpenTable Experiences rather than the regular calendar. Thanksgiving, November 26, is a three-course menu at $155 per person, served noon to 7:30pm, for parties up to ten. Christmas Eve is the regular à la carte menu with a few specials inspired by the Feast of the Seven Fishes, 11:30am to 9pm, also for up to ten. New Year’s Eve runs 4:30pm to 10pm with a live DJ. The Reserve links on the restaurant’s holidays page open each Experience directly, which is quicker than hunting for it from the main listing. For other rooms serving the holiday, see Thanksgiving restaurant reservations.

What to order

The current menu opens with the bread: cast iron focaccia with tomato conserva ($18), the caramelized onion torta with balsamic and pecorino toscana ($27), and gnocco fritto with goat gouda ($16). The pastas run from tagliatelle with tomato and buffalo butter ($25) to rigatoni alla gricia ($31), stracci with rabbit ($29) and cavatelli allo scoglio with crab, chili and vermouth ($35). OpenTable’s editors describe the house martini as two gins with blanc and dry vermouth and orange bitters.

Cancellations: when tables come back

Across 28 days, cancellations are the second door. The 3-hour line means people can give back a table the same afternoon without paying the $35, so returned times can show up late on the day itself, not only days ahead. The 2022 interview adds one more habit: the manager did a final pass of the book a few days out and on the morning of service, opening up tables where she could. Restaurants change staff and habits, so treat that as a hint, not a rule. OpenTable’s own alerts go to everyone at once; why that rarely wins a prime table is covered in why OpenTable Notify Me misses tables. If Ci Siamo stays full, the hardest restaurants to book in NYC guide shows where it sits against the rest of the city.

Full disclosure: SeatSwiper is my product. Everything in this guide works without it. The last section explains where it helps and exactly what it costs.

Watching Ci Siamo’s OpenTable calendar

Every way into a Ci Siamo dinner comes down to being on its OpenTable page when a table exists: noon on the day your date opens, or the unscheduled minute someone gives back a Friday at 7pm. SeatSwiper watches OpenTable, Resy and SevenRooms, and Ci Siamo books on OpenTable, so one watch covers the noon release and the cancellations after it. Set your date and party size once and it books the table the moment one opens or someone cancels, even if you are in a meeting at noon. It books on your own OpenTable account, in your name, for your own dinner, and nothing is resold or transferred. It can’t get your account banned, because it books on your own account and checks every few minutes, never nonstop. The first booking is free. After that it is a flat $5, charged only when it actually books the table, with no subscription. A cancellation watch on a date that is already full costs $1 to start, charged when the watch begins even if no table ever opens; that $1 is not covered by the free first booking and is not refunded, and the same $5 applies if the watch wins you the table. The honest limits: it only works on those three platforms, it needs your OpenTable login to book in your name, Ci Siamo’s own card requirement and $35 late fee still apply, it can lose a race for a single table, and it cannot hold a bar stool for you.

FAQ

Is Ci Siamo on Resy or OpenTable?

OpenTable. As of November 2026 the Reservations button on cisiamo.com opens Ci Siamo’s OpenTable listing, and its holiday menus book as OpenTable Experiences. It was on Resy when it opened in 2021, which is why older guides and some trackers still say Resy, but Resy’s old Ci Siamo page now returns “we can’t find that page.” A SevenRooms page also exists but showed no times when checked.

When do Ci Siamo reservations open?

Twenty-eight days ahead. The restaurant told Resy in 2022 that it opens reservations “28 days in advance, at 12 noon each day,” and the tracker ReservationFinder lists noon Eastern on OpenTable now. On the night of November 1, 2026, OpenTable showed November 29 open and November 30 not yet released. For Saturday, December 19, be on OpenTable at noon on Saturday, November 21.

Does Ci Siamo take walk-ins?

Its website states no walk-in policy as of November 2026. When it opened, the bar and lounge were kept for walk-ins only, and in 2022 the manager said that meant about 13 bar stools and 20 lounge seats, with a waitlist. Weekday aperitivo runs in the bar and lounge from 3pm to 4:30pm, so arriving then as one or two is the easiest try.

What is Ci Siamo’s cancellation policy?

Its OpenTable terms, as of November 2026, read: “We kindly ask that any cancellations be made at least 3 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of $35 per person.” Every time shown asked for a credit card. OpenTable takes parties of one to ten online; eleven or more are told to contact the restaurant directly, and the private room seats up to 50.
