Trishna London Reservations: How to Book on SevenRooms

Trishna sits on Blandford Street, a quiet Marylebone Village side road a few minutes from the Wallace Collection, in a room whose doors fold open onto the pavement when the weather allows. It was the first restaurant Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi opened, back in 2008, as a London outpost of the Mumbai seafood house of the same name, and every JKS room that followed, Gymkhana included, grew out of this address. It has held a Michelin star since 2012, took a light refurbishment in early 2025, and still sends most of its tables out with the Dorset brown crab, bathed in butter, a direct nod to the butter pepper garlic crab served at the original Trishna in Mumbai. Where the book lives

Trishna takes reservations on SevenRooms. Every booking button on trishnalondon.com points at the same search page, and the link carries a venue picker with a sibling JKS room attached to it, so the page you land on can quietly have a different restaurant selected. Check the venue toggle before you start hunting dates, because a bare calendar at Trishna and a bare calendar at another JKS room look identical at a glance. The restaurant is unusually plain about supply: its own booking page states that all availability is shown online, which means there is no hidden telephone allocation you are failing to ask for. The line on 020 7935 5624 and the info address exist for amendments and questions, not for a secret set of tables. JKS runs its rooms on a rolling window of roughly two months, with new dates appearing early in the UK morning, and the group flagship’s documented opening is 6am. Trishna does not publish its own exact minute, so treat six in the morning as the shape of the thing and confirm the current window on the venue’s SevenRooms page before you set an alarm. The room, and where the pressure sits

Trishna seats up to eighty guests, with a small alfresco terrace at the front used for dining and for drinks receptions. That number is worth knowing, because it explains the behaviour of the calendar. Eighty covers is not tiny, so the book is rarely bare a month out, and it is nowhere near enough for a starred kitchen on a street that fills with people who have already tried and failed at the flagship. Lunch runs Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 2:30. Dinner runs Monday to Saturday from 5 to 10:15, and Sunday from 5 to 9:45. Demand concentrates exactly where you would guess, the 7 to 8:30 block on Friday and Saturday, and it thins out quickly on either side of it. The menu structure works in your favour too. This is not a tasting-menu-only room, so an a la carte sits alongside the four and five course Taste of Trishna, and tables turn at genuinely different speeds through a single service. That variety is why availability here reshuffles through the evening instead of sitting frozen the way it does in a room where every guest is on the same three hour menu.

The five o’clock menu is the real opening

The most useful thing about Trishna’s book is not the window at all, it is the set menu. The Lunch and Early Evening Menu, a choice of two, three or four courses, is served in the main dining room from noon to 2:15 and from 5 to 6:15 every evening. Not weekdays only. Saturday included. So the softest seatings in the entire week, the five and six o’clock tables most people scroll straight past on their way to a 7:30 that no longer exists, are also the ones carrying the shorter starred menu at the friendlier price. You are not taking the leftovers by booking one; you are booking the version of Trishna the kitchen built for that hour. Lunch, Wednesday to Sunday, is softer again, and it is the shortest honest line to eating the crab this month. If your aim is to actually get in rather than to get in at a specific hour on a specific Saturday, start your search at 5pm and work forwards, and start it midweek before you try the weekend. Party size matters in the same direction: a 2-top clears in this room far more often than a four, and a four far more often than a six.

The private room opens a month earlier

Here is Trishna’s genuine booking quirk, and almost nobody uses it. The Koliwada Room, the private space seating six to twelve guests, opens its bookings three months in advance, a full month further out than the dining room’s rolling window. A party of eight therefore gets a longer runway than a couple does, which is the reverse of how nearly every hard restaurant works. The restaurant also states there is currently no minimum spend required for lunch or dinner in that room, so the usual reason to rule a private space out, a four figure floor before you have ordered anything, is not in play. Group bookings run through a separate tab on the same SevenRooms search rather than the ordinary date picker, so you will never find them by staring harder at the standard calendar. Larger groups, thirteen to sixty guests, move to semi-private or exclusive hire and become an events enquiry by email instead of an online booking. When returned tables show up

Trishna publishes no deposit and no cancellation charge for an ordinary dining room reservation as of September 2026, and that shapes the timing of everything that comes back. A room with a money deadline pushes its cancellations into a tidy cluster, because guests hand the table back before the charge bites. With no deadline there is nothing to cluster around, so returned seats reappear on SevenRooms at scattered hours as plans change, including on the day itself. Two moments repay attention. The first is the front edge of the window, the morning your target date first becomes bookable, which is the densest instant of supply in the whole cycle. The second is the final week before a booked date, and the morning of, when people finally look properly at their diaries. A freed table at Trishna is visible to everyone at once and goes to whoever finishes checkout first, which is why a passive notify list so rarely turns into dinner.

The plan, in order

Put it together and the sequence is short. Decide the date, count back two months, and be logged into SevenRooms with a card saved before the UK morning opening, dates flexible and party size as small as your group allows. If that date is already inside the window and looks full, do not write it off: check the 5 to 6:15 band and the Wednesday to Sunday lunch first, then keep an eye on the book through the last week.
