La Natural Miami Reservations: How to Book a Table

La Natural is a 40 seat wood fired pizza and natural wine room at 7289 NW 2nd Avenue in Little River, an address you have to mean to visit. Javier Ramirez and Andreina Matos, the pair behind Alter, Palmar and Bachour, started it in their own backyard, feeding friends sourdough pizzas and mostly American natural wine outdoors, and the restaurant kept the shape of that party: a roll up door that turns the whole space into one open room, ceiling fans instead of a wall between inside and out. Resy’s venue page lists a Michelin Bib Gourmand every year from 2022 through 2026, an Esquire best new restaurant nod in 2021, and a top 50 placing in a 2026 global pizza ranking. Forty seats against that much attention is why a La Natural reservation is hard, and the way in is timing rather than luck.

How booking La Natural actually works

La Natural takes reservations on Resy, and only on Resy. The restaurant’s own reservations page does nothing but hand you off to its Resy listing, so there is no OpenTable entry to fall back on. The window is rolling and runs roughly 30 days out. Checked on 29 August 2026, the furthest date the calendar would accept was 30 September, and a request for 15 October returned “At the moment, there’s no online availability,” which is what a date outside the window looks like rather than a sold out night.

What La Natural does not do is publish an opening hour. There is no advertised 10am ritual the way New York rooms advertise theirs, so do not wait for a bell that never rings. Treat it as a calendar advancing one day at a time and check your target date the morning it first comes into range. Read the venue’s own note on the Resy page before you book, because three lines in it shape the evening. Parties larger than 12 guests cannot book online and have to email the restaurant or send a WhatsApp. Tables are held for 15 minutes only, and the kitchen will not seat you until every member of your party has arrived. And on Fridays and Saturdays there is a $25 charge for a no show or a last minute cancellation. Resy shows the exact terms as you confirm, so read them there rather than assuming a figure.

Why the table is so hard to get

Forty seats is most of the answer, and the restaurant is unusually blunt about the rest. Its Resy note opens with the line “We are a small, off the beaten path 40 seat restaurant which has no walk through traffic.” Nobody wanders in off the sidewalk in Little River. That is why the fee exists, and why every cover is a booked cover: there is no passing crowd to absorb an empty table, so the reservation book is the only door.

The line most people skim past is the next one. The venue page states that indoor tables are subject to availability and on busy nights will be reserved for regulars. Read that plainly: on a full Friday the enclosed seats are effectively not in the online pool, and what you are competing for is the open air room under the roll up door and the fans. Add a Bib Gourmand renewed five years running and a global pizza ranking that pulls in visitors who have never set foot in Little River, and you get renewing demand against a fixed, tiny room. That is why La Natural belongs alongside the rest of the hardest restaurants to book in Miami.

The off-peak and back-door angles

If your date is a locked Saturday at 8pm, the front door is unkind. Flex on any single variable and the picture changes fast, because the schedule hands you an easy alternative most people never look at:

• Weekend lunch is the real back door. La Natural serves lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. Same wood oven, same dough, same wine list, and a fraction of the competition, because nearly everyone hunting this restaurant is hunting a dinner slot.
• Monday through Thursday dinner. Early in the week it runs dinner only, 5pm to 10pm. Those nights carry no published cancellation fee, which is a small tell about how much softer the demand is.
• Take the early edge. A 5pm or 5:15pm seating turns over constantly and is far easier to land than 8pm on any night, Friday included.
• Book small, or go fully direct. A two top drops into gaps a party of eight never will. In the other direction, a group over 12 has to email or WhatsApp the restaurant anyway, which takes you out of the online scramble entirely.
• Do not build a plan around walking in. La Natural publishes no walk-in policy and says outright that it has no walk through traffic, the opposite of a room like Boia De, which holds counter space nightly. When cancelled tables come back

The fee structure tells you when to look. Because the $25 charge lands only on Fridays and Saturdays, a Tuesday or Wednesday booking costs nothing to abandon, so weeknight plans get dropped freely and late, and those tables reappear on Resy the instant they are released, often on the day itself. On Friday and Saturday the incentive runs the other way: rather than eat the charge, people cancel earlier, which pushes the richest weekend return window a day or two out rather than into the final hour.

Then there is the most literal returned table here. A booking whose party has not fully arrived is held for 15 minutes only, so a straggling group on a busy Saturday can free a two top at 7:15pm with nobody expecting it.
